Wow, I hadn’t even thought of this, but it’s a real possibility. And yeah, a clear difference in messages between our 2 countries, as you point out.

Suicides of survivors after mass shootings are common enough but someone on another site make a comment that really made sense too. The three people who recently died, the two students and the Sandy Hook parent, may have been pushed over the edge by the immediate response in New Zealand. Look how valued the children…
There are soldiers who go through months of training, mental tests, go through combat, and still fall under the perils of PTSD from the shootings they are in.
Oh no. This one hurts so much. People need to understand that PTSD is not just “over” after a couple of weeks. Surviving something so utterly traumatising has long-term emotional effects. The US Healthcare System let down one more young life in favour of guns. I am so angry.
There was a case on the TV show Criminal Minds years ago that had a loosely similar premise to it. The episode is called “Painless” and I think the title of the episode was a reference to the song “Suicide is Painless” (the theme from M*A*S*H*).
I hope some business school somewhere has done a good and thorough case study of the Myspace debacle, and has not changed the names of the responsible parties...
I feel like there’s a difference between continuing to exist and being a thing.
I actually was there and saw it. I work down the street. I got off the train at around 9:30 am, the area was cordoned off and there were about seven cops there looking worried, and the poor man’s boots sticking out from under the white drape.
The issue of MJ and the current movement of calling out abusers is so difficult, personally. Young people do not understand how impactful Michael was to us old folks and how his music transcends time.
Fuck this bitch. She knows damn well her dad is not “dark” and doesn’t identify as Afro-Latino. So full of shit.
That was so rude and condescending and she should know better.
Girl, a wise man once said “ It’s better to be silent and thought the fool than to speak and remove all doubt.” Be quiet Gina, listen and learn something.
Somebody take the shovel out of her hands. Jeez.
She’s exhausting.
"...Rachel McAdams' dresses are adorable, you see lots of shirtless Gos, and the part where they have wall-sex in the new/old house is hawt (or was when I was in college, I'm probably past it now)."
Thank you for bringing this into my life.
THERE IS NO SAFE SPACE FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU
Nope- that film is brilliant! sorry
I'm confused now. Do people actually LIKE The Notebook, I mean, as a good movie?? I have watched it several times, but mostly only because Rachel McAdams' dresses are adorable, you see lots of shirtless Gos, and the part where they have wall-sex in the new/old house is hawt (or was when I was in college, I'm probably…
To this day I have never forgotten the Master Pancake Theatre's riff of this film.
