It’s easier to connect with people when you speak the same language, right? Should we not strive for an environment conducive to forming common bonds, sharing a laugh, or being able to engage each other on the topics we care about? A society filled with foreign languages isn’t a society. It’s a tenement.

See, we may be closer to being in agreement than the rest of these knuckleheads. Taking in the world’s “teeming refuse” is a Christian virtue. Caring for the poor, sick, disabled... all teachings of Christ. Running a country is an entirely different thing. From that standpoint, you wouldn’t want the “teeming refuse.”…
