To be fair. Nobody thought BG3 would blow up like it did. Previous games in the series did nowhere near the same level of sales. Hell, even a Larain Studios exec thought that Microsoft’s assessment was fair.

Wizards of the Coast did this not too long ago with their OGL “update”.

I’m surprised to not see Minecraft, Rare Replay, or Sea of Thieves on this list.
