Hickory and oak are pretty good ones to use. I personally like using mesquite, but that is a personal preference and not everyone likes the flavor it puts on meat (and it burns hotter, so that’s also a thing to pay attention of)

Also anything “eighteen” should be replaced with a “eight” since eight is shorter than eighteen, thus comes earlier.
