Claire, I still think you need to switch over from the Anova and get a waterbath system instead. I have an Oliso Smarthub which can also double as an induction cooktop. Looks nicer than an immersion circulator and plastic tub sitting on the counter.

Adding to this. Get a remote. Yes you can shoot on a timer using your phone but using a small Bluetooth remote makes it easier take the photo from a distance without having to have your phone on all the time.

We’re in cookout season so I say hotdogs. But there are multiple ways to do a hotdog. Do you sous vide the toppings along side the hot dogs? Maybe try to infuse the added flavors and sous vide the toppings along with the wieners. I’d love to see a Chicago style hot dog made this way.

She’s done stuffed burgers before. The bonus to sous vide with this is that the burger won’t fall apart when you throw it on the grill for searing.
