I don’t recall studying this in algorithm design and analysis.
This one appeared in front of me on Lincoln Drive during my commute home. The contraption on the roof had shiny spinny bits, probably LIDAR. Perhaps it actually was capturing imagery for a mapping project like Google Street View, but it didn’t look like it.
It sucks that the boat lies on the hard and so far from home, but views like this make it all worth it in the end, hole in the water notwithstanding.
