Libra is by far my favorite DeLillo. (White Noise is a close second, but the two are vastly different.) I think its very-loosely-based-on-true-events angle would be interesting even to someone who otherwise doesn't care for DeLillo.

I'll have to try that Rogue. Thanks for the recommendation!

If I remember the book correctly, it's the first one.

I tried a New Belgium that was brewed with anaheim chilies (one of their Lips of Faith series). I thought it would have an interesting spicy kick to it but it was underwhelming.

I've lived in both Dallas and Houston and definitely prefer Houston, mostly for the food, culture, and diversity. Dallas wins on weather, though. But just barely.

Oh, that's…disappointing.

Went to a beer fest over the weekend and sampled 12 or so beers. My favorite was Pinko 23, a stout aged in Pappy van Winkle barrels.

I like Mega M&Ms. I didn't know about the fish oil, but that just means that M&Ms are now a source of omega-3s, right?

It was loud and busy and overwhelming. It didn't look anything like the picture above — it was cluttered and dark. I think the dressing rooms were in the basement. (This was at the original Brooklyn shop. The Manhattan shop looks much nicer.)

I'm not a huge fan, but man, I used to burn a copy of "Nassau" for everyone I met (and liked) in grad school. Not sure I succeeded in getting anyone else to like them, though.

I got my wedding dress at Kleinfeld (long before this show existed). The place was…weird. Just not my thing.
