I found out about roof mounted tents a few months ago and got really excited. Then I saw the price tag. For the same size as a $75 ground tent you spend $3000 for a little bit of convenience. No thanks.
I sort of thought this was a newer idea. Like we as both individuals and a civilization have risen above physical confrontations. We haven’t and probably shouldn’t. I’m not saying back alley brawls should be the rule, but sometimes someone needs a reminder that they’re being an asshole.
That last bit about parts being hard to find is why, if any thing, I may just get an older, points-style setup.
Simplicity and affordability are key, here.
