No thanks, if seeing a movie means homework I’ll just skip it

Glad to hear this. I’ve been having a lot of impostor syndrome lately, and if someone like Goldsman can make massive money writing shit scripts, then maybe I can write my stupid internet shorts.

I’m definitely in the superhero fatigue camp, but it’s more the quality than the quantity. Especially with the MCU, all these movies look and feel exactly the same. It’s a bit of catch 22, since MCU movies generally have bland, predictable action plots gussied up with convoluted mythology. So you could easily skip the mythology “pre-reqs” and jump right in... but then it’s just a bland, predictable action movie.

I like the show now, but it’s giving me strong “I’m going to run three seasons too long and win a bunch of seriously questionable legacy Emmys” vibes, and the central romance is one of the major reasons why.

K, I really enjoy this show, but let’s not pretend like this aspect is the best thing ever. We’re only like half-way through season 2? Seems a bit early to call anything.

It’s also gotten so convoluted and extensive that I can’t imagine the movies are attracting a new audience at this point. Which presumably leaves them hoping to hang on to what they have?

I’m glad that I stopped paying attention to Marvel after Endgame. It all seems just so exhausting to keep up with anymore.

Where do I go for a review that doesn't recount the film scene by scene?

One of my first thoughts on seeing the ad was that it reminded me of B99 and seemed like a cop comedy without the cops, so the reviewer didn’t exactly pull that out of their ass.

You're overlooking the part where a guy who doesn't give a shit about people has a wife. She must feel special. 

It’s pretty obvious from the review that the author thinks that...external issues aside, the game has a few glaring flaws but is actually pretty good.
