The meat industry

It really isn’t.

...but it really isn’t that. I have one; I cross-shopped Germans, and let me tell you it is MILES away from the 3 series in its current form. Slightly below C43 in materials quality, slightly below Audi in overall finish and ergonomics - but one impressive car overall.

I wanted the 3.3T more than the manual. I just love the car.

Can’t believe you never noticed that! It’s been bothering me ever since I saw one. I’ll try to find a video. And yeah, there’s at least ONE other person with a strange obsession for car lighting (to the immense dismay of my girlfriend actually).

Wow. First BMW I really love the looks of in a long time (well, I liked a lot of pre-Bangle stuff, favourites among which were the E39 5-series and old 8-series).

I wouldn’t have a problem with you defending an S4 or a C43 AMG or even a 340i with the sport package, but seriously the Q50RS is a fantastic engine in a dismal car. The ride sucks, the steering is the worst and seriously the interior is bad. Where are the ventilated seats? Why is the navigation system so horrible?

And $57000 is in CAD, which is $44000 USD, which is MUCH cheaper.

An Altima has a better interior than the Q50 Red Sport. It’s ridiculously bad (to me). I’ll gladly trade off an imperceptible (to me) 0.2s and the better (to me) driving dynamics for a better (to literally everyone ever) interior where I’ll spend 100% of my driving time.

I get your point, but in Canada I’m paying significantly less for a G70 Sport than for a Q50 Red Sport, and trust me the G70 is quicker.

That’s what’s happening? Just got mine in Canada and was wondering why there isn’t even pricing out for the US. Do you have details or an article?

I said “compared to Infiniti”, not “compared to a C43 AMG”. Nissan/Infiniti depreciates extremely quickly and the Q50 is one of the worst.

Nope. G70 Sport 3.3T. Based on the G80/G90 Genesis maintains an extremely high value compared to Infiniti. The Q50 got an exterior refresh but it’s still super dated.

Because the American Stinger has the 2.0T. You can’t get a manual 3.3T. Look at the Genesis G70, you can get it in manual with the 2.0T in RWD (and it’s not expensive for Canada).

Had to go to 4 dealers to find one that would let me drive it without a credit application. Then Genesis gave me a G70 and a full tank of gas for an entire weekend.

I just got my Genesis G70 Sport 3.3T (yay Canada), and based on the loaner I had for 4 days, and my 2 hours with a Stinger GT2 - let me tell you this: The Stinger is an amazing car, and the G70 is better in nearly every way. Lighter, nimbler, more rigid, better suspension, more comfortable... It’s a true luxury sports

Maybe it’s just a Canadian thing, but I’ve never seen myself in 5 used and new car purchases, or even heard of, someone driving off with a car before the financing was approved. In my neck of the woods, you need a sales contract (which is then final and cannot be changed), approved credit and proof of insurance before

Audi dealerships are stellar. Went to try an A4, also had me try the A5 Sportback and an S4 just because I mentioned them, plus an RS3 just for shits. In jeans, and I’m late 20s. BMW didn’t give me the time of day and no one in the Benz dealership even said hi.

One that doesn’t have Toronto.

Because putting cameras inside your own house is hardly a crime.
