Dude, I had one of these from age 10 to 14, and trust me it seen it’s share of extreme moving about and abuse, and it never scratched a single disc.

I dream of doing this - only I want to use a colour e-ink display. I was surprised at how incredibly expensive they are. When (if) it gets reasonable, I’m doing it for sure.

The dealership was responsible, since there was a legit contract where they took the used car, and my responsibility was limited to the $500 difference in between what they gave me and what was owed (difference which I paid to the dealer). They were supposed to pay off the bank, they didn’t.

Reminds me when I got arrested, handcuffed and booked for possession of a stolen vehicle. Then they realized the stolen car was the 08 Mazda3 I had traded in 2 months before, and that the car they arrested me in was a BMW 328xi. At least they didn’t charge me for the towing and gave me a ride to the impound lot.

The PT6 is one hell of a prop engine.

That’s an actual gauge though. The sides are screens, but this one isn’t.

And you had to post one car that *is* a bad car. It’s an extremely overpriced and comparatively poor hybrid.

I’m in Canada and I see some of these pretty much everyday.

Because being drunk absolves one from their responsibilities?

You know, I’m so tired of people saying the only great car makers are Japanese. Honda is so overpriced for what it is, and Toyota is even worse. Plasticky interiors, rattles, wind noises at 45MPH... All that for more money than the competition. Granted, I sat in a 2016 Accord and have to say I was impressed, but I can

Sure, we all need to pump dead dinosaur in our cars for the rest of eternity because electric cars will never make money. You work for Chevron or Exxon?

So who would be the best to you? (Please don’t say Toyota)

Probably. Then again, it’s being developed. With the Chevy Bolt and the Tesla Model 3 coming, they won’t charge $100k for a C-class electric car.

Had a BMW before the Focus that got replaced by the CMax. I’m very used to (and love) brakes that don’t need much pressure to apply insane braking force. Probably a side effect of work (where everything gets super heavy duty emergency vehicle brake updates). So yeah, I might not be your best reference.

As with all vehicles with regenerative braking, coasting does slow you down slightly faster than in a regular car - but regen in drive is very mild. If you put the lever in “L” (which it isn’t, really), it kicks max regen as soon as you let go of the brakes.

Bring it. I am happy with this. It’ll be a hell of a choice when it’s time to trade in my plug-in C-Max.

The second the V/S90 gain a plug-in range of 60+ miles on electric power, I’m getting one. I’d have never even thought of a wagon, but since I got my C-Max (after owning 5 sedans) hatchbacks are growing on me.

Lease, don’t buy, and go with a Sport Autobiography.

It’s that much more comfortable.

We’ve all been there! Thanks for your service.
