When I was 15 I heard Love it to Death and Denis Dunnaway made me want to be a bass player. 26 years later I still play bass, and still think that 4-album run is one of the best 4-album runs by any band ever.
The best way to do an Infinite Jest movie would be to tell the story of what happens between the end of the book and the opening scene of the book (Year of Glad).
he's right though.
hellooooo…. i just got BEANNNED with a big ball of oiillllllll
Agreed. I really, really like Adore (and Machines of God maybe even more so) and think it's criminally underrated.
ELAINE: Why? Why do you think he's upset?
There was one episode where Jerry said something to the effect of "I can't watch a man sing a song. It's embarrassing. All that swaying"
George doesn't want to be IN the cult, he just wants the cult to WANT to recruit him. It's like that episode where he ditched Cuddy because he was obsessed with Jerry's masseuse girlfriend not liking him
"Still though, these guys are gay."
But wouldn't a "cure" just make them dead? A person gets bit, gets the fever, dies, and then comes back. even if there is a cure that gets administered (How? by cropdusting?) it will remove the zombie state but they'll still be dead. Unless they find a cure for death too?
