Never let the facts get in the way of some good clickbait.

Erm, botched pass? Are we watching the same event? That wasn’t a botched pass, he was taking evasive action to avoid cannonballing into the two dawdling GT cars.

And a few years ago it would have been Porsche. It’s a simple numbers game, there are more of them than any other car because Ferrari has an extremely strong customer racing program and they sell more of them to gentlemen drivers (slower, less talented people with money to burn). There are more of them out there so

Again, sorry to be the pedant, but the Audi crash was caused by McNish going for a gap that wasn’t there.

Apparently the throttle stuck open, you can hear it bouncing off the limiter after the impact.

I know it’s fun to blame everything on Ferrari on Jalopnik because Ferrari is the antichrist, but I thought it would be helpful to point out that it was a Toyota which knocked the Nissan into the wall.

The morphing bit was fantastic, the transparently fake driving through Paris bit on the other hand was terrible.

It was a barely modified road car. It was sponsored by a penis clinic. It won. For me this wins (until the moment when Porsche/NISMO or whoever dethrones the diesel heathens).

It must be nice up there in your ivory tower.

A manual gearbox would need a hell of a meaty clutch to withstand that level of power and torque. I would say a clutch so meaty that it would take Herculean strength to push the pedal. That’s going to make the driving experience worse. The clutch on my 550 Maranello is borderline unusable and this thing has the best

Yada yada yada, whatever they said on Top Gear that one time, yada yada yada.

Out of the umpteen piles of festering excrement which the world seemed to be producing in the nineties, you put the 996 in THIRD? Ok, in the Porsche legacy it won’t be remembered as a shining beacon, but the nineties gave us the Opel Vectra, the Daewoo Whatever, every Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Lancia.

I sincerely hope not. It looks shit.

    This stuff is gold Tyler.

I think anyone would like that. Doing it in such an obnoxious fashion makes it weapons-grade douchebaggery.
