Join who? Not "us". You maybe. I'm a TV luddite. I've seen HDTVs, I've watched sports on them, I've played games on them. It looks nice, but HDTVs just aren't worth the money. The resolution doesn't impress me, but the broader aspect ratio is nice.

@thexpert: Meh, unlike Korn and Tool, Donnie Darko actually has a degree of charm and wit to it. If we had to link it with a band, I think I'd link it to 70s Progrock weirdos like Focus. #thebox

@Gina Trapani: It is unreasonably inconsistent. Further, it renders tagging useless for sooooo many purposes. #feature

@Gina Trapani: OSX does it by having a filesystem that allows attaching metadata to any file. #feature

@brodiemac: That's my strategy. I decide when I want to be up, set the alarm 27 minutes earlier, and snooze three times. I prefer the gradual rise to consciousness.

@gameraboy: It doesn't seem like they had that level of fine-grained control over the kino. But still, nobody could rig up a simple lever? Or, jeezus, plug the hole with a crate? I know they wanted to kill Shooter McGavin, but it was stretchy.

I went into it expecting to hate it. I lost my feel for Stargate sometime around season 6, I gave Atlantis a spin, only to give it up as too inconsistent and, well, boring.

@rachaeljean: I think that he actually orchestrated the whole thing. That's the vibe they were trying to broadcast, anyway. He might not have been responsible for the Go'auld assault, but he certainly capitalized on it.

@twophrasebark: Nobody did believe him. They made a plot point out of it- they believed Dashing McProtagonist, not him.

Because it's a stupid idea? I mean, the main use-case of a tablet is writing upon it with a stylus, but writing sucks. I type way faster (and more legibly) than I write.

Anchor, anchor, anchor. Anything you can use to hold yourself or the camera steady, use it. The same is true of using firearms, by the way.

@stallionz53: Exhale slowly, and as you tighten your finger on the trigger, stop.

I guess Spitzer couldn't answer "hookers and blow".

As someone who uses the old fashioned blocky box style on Vista, I'm not sure XP was an improvement.

@SushobhanaKabobber: Good god, there is no restriction. You can put your iTunes music on any device that supports AAC, and you can use iTunes to convert into MP3, which everything supports.

@SejalIshareit: I like how Palm has people brainwashed that they think breaking the USB spec to do something that could be done without releasing a broken product is a good thing.

@Geoff: You might be able to make a lot of money if you make it easy-enough-to-use.

Walled garden? Which part? The AAC encoded, DRM free music files? Or the library format written in easily mashable XML, giving developers easy access to libraries, playlists, and anything else the user might want?

Robert Picardo was awesome in that. His rug, not so much.

The scarf thing won't work so well for a guy, unless his name is "Freddy" and his best friends are Velma and Daphne.
