I should specify the "leftist" media did more of the attacks, rather than more general sources like NPR and CNN. Even at that, I'd still argue that they did him a disservice, but more by omission than truly castigating him like the Washington Post.

The moment the words "Election Night…Again" appeared on the screen, I knew this episode was going to be a doozy. At least the tagline showed some awareness of the writers being annoyed with the dizzying back and forth storytelling, but it is truly getting tiring. Seriously, this is Walking Dead/shonen anime type of

You said everything I was about to, for the most part. I would also add that New York Times and the Washington Post (ESPECIALLY the latter) went out of its way to vilify Bernie Sanders during last year's primaries, while more-or-less giving Donald Trump a free pass for the inane bullshit he was spewing until Hillary

Do you have some proof on those claims? It's not because I don't want to believe what you said, because it makes a LOT of sense. I just want to make sure it's true.

My thoughts on the episode:

I don't watch cinemasins. I just like talking about TV with fellow obsessives, and I don't mind the discussions, even when they go some weird directions. But like I said before, you add nothing to the fray, and you're not even half as clever as you think you are. You're just a one-dimensional troll that's not even

I get more out of most comments in avclub versus other TV watching outlets, but you're just a sad bore. Go back to the Breitbart hole you came from. We won't miss you.

The common thread among most of us is that Kirkman wouldn't die, whether he got shot or not. Scandal certainly pulled that trick in season two with Fitz with him surviving, despite getting shot in the head. Even for those of us who guessed wrong, Kirkman getting shot but eventually pulling through doesn't change that

I haven't watched the above video, but did anyone reference the Boondocks MLK episode at least? It predicted this very scenario. Here's hoping another animated comedy counter acts The Simpsons accurately pin pointing President Trump.

"— it always cracks me up when someone says Fitz is the worst. Worse than whom? Worse than Jake? Worse than Rowan? Worse than Mama Pope? Worse than Olivia?"

Season five almost rebounded from the season three and four downturn, but Shonda was too addicted to B613 to let it die, and season five's second half was unbelievably bad in parts, it was amazing to see it self destruct (though season four's second half was awful, too).

Season two accomplished this balance very well, even within the hugely popular Defiance plotline, so it can be done. Alas, Shonda cared more about making a subpar Alias afterward. Instead of, you know, making Olivia actually being a handler.

Even without Trump, Scandal is boring and predictable now. It's not bandwagon thinking. That's Shonda destroying what once was her best show with that spy drama garbage for too long, and ruining what was once a can't miss nighttime soap. A presidential assassination this far in the series, with Cyrus being the

Agreed. It was really by the numbers, at best. Nothing too offensive, but nothing compelling, either.

Aside from all of the predictable plot twists in the episode - of course there's another presidential assassination, and of course Cyrus did it - I found this episode boorish and derivative for one reason beyond the writers' control:

As a former Disney Channel addict, I feel like That's So Raven was the least deserving of the late 90s/early 2000s shows to get the 100 episodes. During Disney Channel's rise of being an alternative Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network branch of kids/teen programming, The Famous Jett Jackson (RIP Lee Thompson Young) was the

To be fair, Jake did kill Cyrus's husband.

I have not watched Scandal since that Jake flashback episode; partly because of working a lot of overtime, and partly because I have been catching up on Better Call Saul and video games in my free time instead (i.e., two things that are worth my entertainment time). Reading this review and the following comments,

To be fair, that's a weakness with satire in general. Once the public has moved on with the subject matter, the punchlines do not hit as hard as they did before.

Despite all of the negative Grey's Anatomy and Shonda stuff I heard over the years, I took a chance with Scandal, because of the buzz it was receiving during season two. Initially, I did not regret my decision, but now? Oh man, this is worse than GA ever was, even at its worst. I am never watching another Shonda ran
