Actually, that was Eli/Rowan who revealed the affair to the press. Mellie's claims were made but easily denied by White House staff. Still, point taken. That's what I hoped season three would be as well (i.e., Olivia being the scandal instead of the fixer) before the B613 and Mama Pope crap got started.

I agree. Olivia and Fitz's love scenes are 100% pure passion gold, but as a non-sexual couple, they are not good for each other. They lost that element after Defiance (or arguably during Defiance).

We don't care that Scandal will never be Mellie's show. We just want the show to be GOOD in spite of that, and it's not good anymore.
