Yea, the tech has been on cars for plenty long now. Its a 50/50 on whether or not the private sector is better at handling this power, but it seems like the ability to disable a vehicle isnt new.

AMC had some racing chops. They won their very first attempt at the Nürburgring 24 hours with the Spirit AMXs. The cars had shitty brakes and poor front suspension and still managed to take 1st and second in their class.

I played through Alyx by using arilink and Valve has really set the bar for VR games. It was a watershed moment for me, as the game was so polished and the mechanics felt really good. I wanted to pick up things in my house by flicking them for like a week.

Exactly. Here in Austin I see lots of weekend warrior rigs. Lots of good places around here in that 2-8 hour driving range that make a rig look like a good idea.

The multiplayer portions were very far ahead of their time with the asymmetrical Cell vs ..baddies? (cant remember what they were called). I think the multiplayer could easily stand out now as it really lent itself to duos and quads with the team based mechanics.
