I believe Breaking Benjamins made an appearance as well.

As a born and raised Hoosier (now living out of state) this made me chuckle and weep at the same time.
Indiana consistently has over 100,000 unfilled skilled labor jobs/year, so unionizing seems like should be easier, what with not having a surplus of workers to just pick up.
I shelled out some cash for a set of Bilstein shocks on my ‘85 CJ7 and it made a world of difference. I can turn without feeling like I’m gonna fall over!, plus I don’t hit the bump stops on speed bumps anymore, and I don’t wander around the road near as much.
Good lord that first truck is gorgeous.
Its lovably terrible though. His cover of Faith is a masterwork in absolutely not giving a shit.
Which was the original idea of the American Government. The Federal government would serve only to make sweeping rules, such as protecting groups of people and handling taxes to provide highways. States would then be left to govern themselves as they saw fit. Sort of worked for a while?
While its true that some grasses and sedges can withstand high salt and contaminant areas, most of your larger woody plants simply can’t. Also, the salt tends to gather at the very edge of the road (where, you’ll notice most things are dead) or it gets airborn and lands on the leaves of trees and shrubs, where it…
Dense woody plants are fairly good at noise abatement, but the problem with plants is that they tend to be quite finicky with salt. Most states use heavy amounts of salt to keep roadways safe, so things like pine trees and other evergreens struggle to grow along major roadways.
A little vaseline around the rim before you put it on.
The kicker is that on these AMC engines a new carb will gain you the 50 HP back, so the inline 6 with a new Holly Carb can get you back to square one. You can get ahead by changing the ignition system too, as AMC used some pretty low quality systems. Plus you have room to work, and an absolutely bulletproof, albeit hea…
His understanding of the game mechanics and how he tells you basically what’s going to happen when he tries something is pretty awesome. His channel is dope.
I’m curious if the new buildings down there are reflecting light onto the bridge and heating it up even more. 94* is hot, but it’s far from the hottest temps in Chicago, so I would think this would be more common.
Pretty good money in scavenging. I knew of a few companies in Chicago that were demolition companies that also owned salvage companies. Send in the scavengers to pick out the nice lights, doors, bar tops, etc. and then send in the demo crew to level the building. Salvage One was a super cool joint that had amazing old…
No one tells you that jackhammers arent fun AT ALL. Like 30 second of jackhammering and your finger joints are all fucked and your ears hurt and you cant taste anything and the sun has been destroyed.
I appreciate a good rivalry a lot more if there is congeniality off screen. It makes the whole thing seem more like some really good natured jabs, as opposed to actual shit talking which always feels a bit..childish maybe?
Bermuda grass is given far too much credit. It’s not pleasing to look at, soft to walk on, or generally palatable. Lawns are crap anyways but bermuda is the crapist.
I’ll say it. Its a future classic. It has all the hallmarks of the Pinto, or other car that was crappy at the time, but is now cool to own. They were cheap, so lots of regular joes had them growing up, and will be nostalgic about them sooner or later. They’re super simple so they should be relatively easy to work on,…
Yea, it was one of the C words.
No power steering. Manual steering cars, if correctly cambered, will try to self correct to straight.
