I agree the one-and-done rule sucks but it’s also a tricky topic. The players union doesn’t want these high school kids declaring for the draft, getting drafted late 2nd round or not at all then not having an nba career or chance at college, while the ncaa certainly loves the money from these top young prospects…

a lot of athletes here will take an extra year at a prep school to either get their grades and test scores up and/or play against a higher level of competition to get looks from schools
