Yeah it speeds pages up, but it slows the chrome part of the browser in Firefox (the actual window—animations, etc). This should be fixed once Firefox uses separate processes, but till then... ABP is bad.

Best idea? Uninstall Adblock Plus. That thing, in my experience, has always slowed down Firefox. I still love ABP for what it does, but use a separate profile with ABP when you need to visit certain sites (lyrics, file sharing, etc.)
That is extremely weird... Sorry, I really don't know what the problem could be =\

Shit, they gave you a laptop? WHERE IS MY LAPTOP LIFEHACKER?!
This has happened to me in multiple Facebook chat apps. It's super annoying, actually.
I don't want too much system stuff—maybe CPU/memory usage, and a clock. I mainly just want some prettiness.
It's like buying gifts and private browsing.
I'm going to be heading off to college with a laptop, and because of college policies, will likely have to do some torrenting on my home desktop. I was going to use remote access, but this seems much easier. Pretty great.
