@Snarktopus: That bird certainly looks none too pleased, I'd wager.

I don't think we can know for sure the impact until November and December of this year, because that's clearly when all the notebook sales happen - look at last year, a huge jump in November and December. The massive dip in January has jack shit to do with the iPad, and everything to do with everyone having a notebook

About time the cat started earning its keep.

Now that's not going to meet pedestrian safety standards.

@BLACKHAWK: I assure you, if there's a way to cram some crappy geek squad services in an iPad purchase, Best Buy would find a way.

These are old ads, by the way.

Are there enough parts that you could build your own Bentley one piece at a time, Johnny Cash style?

@dapper_otter: I think the 9-10 shift is an emergency one. It engages the light speed.

@Monty: I remember Stunt Car Racer! I remember sucking at Stunt Car Racer, a lot. It still blew my mind back in the day though. I also enjoyed No Second Prize - motorcycles and polygons! It was the future! - but there's another one that I suspect hasn't held up. There was so much win on the Amiga.

Depends on your definition of failure, really. If the goal was to make people who buy ridiculous things on infomercials look like they're wanking - huge success!

@Monty: Damn you and your Amiga reference, now I want to play Llamatron.

F355. Calm, cool, collected, banging your wife and your daughter at the same time.

@suss6052: Nobody cares apart from people who have either driven one or owned one?

You know, every time I see a minimalist house with all white rooms, I can't help but wish for a big muddy laborador to run in there.

@rotaryfreakjoe: Because the Chevrolet Lacetti is like driving an orgasm.

You know what? No. This is stupid. If you can't wait until you get home to update your freaking Facebook status maybe you should drive off a bridge in a texting accident.

The best pure music player is the Sansa Clip, not the Nano. Incredible sound quality, astonishing durability, low price, easy to use. Not as flash as the Nano, sure, but better in every important way.

I actually saw one of those the other day! I said to myself "Why does that Malibu have funny taillights" but it was a Prism. Since five whole people bought one I was pretty surprised!
