Yeah, but unfortunately his shaft doesn't work.

The original golden gun was a lighter, pen, cigarette case, and cufflink. I think that might have been a more sensible option.

@D_Robb: American fanboys probably wouldn't be able to figure out how to host a show.

@MrCrash: Loves his Mopars: Knowing cows, I think the cows were domesticated just because they stood in one place long enough to get a fence built around them.

I've always had this perverse desire to stick a big V8 in one of these and make it a real Cadillac. Now I think you could do that and make it a racing car to boot.

Deer also don't look where they're running. One ran into the side of my car fast enough to take out two fenders. Then one of my mom's friends had a deer run directly into the side of their parked van.

I figured the magic trackpad happened because Apple is really good at doing trackpads and really bad at doing mice. I wouldn't replace my mouse on my Windows desktop with a trackpad in a million years, but my mac at work? I'd be completely willing, because Apple mice suck giant sweaty donkey balls but Apple trackpads

@metronome49: I get what you're saying, you're going on about how what Apple did was a better campaign because they referenced selling points, which is arguably what Motorola is doing as well - reliability and lack of dropped calls in their case.

@metronome49: Apple's flaws were often inaccurate representations of what people fear about PCs, rather than actual flaws with the usability of PCs. Exactly like this.

@On-the-Line: That's really the case of any trend though, isn't it? Some designers get it, some don't. If a company is daring enough there could be some really cool subtle branding - I'd be a lot more inclined to buy a TV if the logo was done with contrasting textures rather than a traditional chrome logo or badge -

@metronome49: In other words, when Apple does something - referencing (frequently exaggerated) consumer fears about a competitor's platform - it's a successful ad campaign which emphasizes selling points. When Motorola does the exact same thing it's a cheap shot.

@On-the-Line: I wonder if the next step for TVs is playing with texture. You mention matte, but you could probably get something interesting if you mix matte and gloss finishes in an interesting way, and it still wouldn't draw your eye away from the TV if done properly.

@On-the-Line: Granted, there's a lot of similarity there, but that's the general problem with trends. Back in the day it was pretty hard to find a TV/Microwave/Clock Radio/marital aid without a big swath of woodgrain adorning it, and a few years ago that awful silver plastic where all the finish would rub off on your

I'm not sure I agree with you completely. Yeah, lots of things are a glossy black with silver accents, that's on trend. But I actually really like the design of my new Sony receiver. I like the look of my friend's Samsung LCD TV - my own Panasonic is covered in cheap silver plastic that never looked good, but his TV

Smoothness. A bad driver will be all over the place, breaking stuff, and generally being herky jerky and annoying their passengers. A good driver will be smooth like a freshly buttered baby's bottom (that sounds wrong, oh well...). They can do crazy things but it's the immense G-forces that rattle the passengers,

@Tyrunn: Again, not where I live (Canada). Online services can also take a bit long if you're looking for something specific that is also popular and recently released.

@Tyrunn: There are? Not where I live!

Specifically outlawing the R4 is silly. Why? Because there are other flash carts. So what if the R4 is banned? You can just get a CycloDS or AceKard, or something else that has been introduced since the last time I looked. The R4 is out of date and no longer supported anyway.
