Definining a large group of people for the bad actions of a few it’s what most racists use to justify themselves: Some black guys stole a shop? All black people are criminals. You’re not so different, because you do the same: Some spaniards are racist? All Spain is racist.

OK, I’m Dutch and as white as they come, but what I’m getting from you is also a pretty “racist” vibe against the people of any country that had a colonial past... Yes, a lot of shit went down, and I’m by no means telling you to forgive and forget, but how can you keep anyone alive right now responsible for that?

Yeah, I see a lot more protest against racism in the Netherlands than actual proud skinheads (like the Pegida demonstration in Amsterdam last week, where the anti-Pegida protesters vastly outnumbered the racists). We’ve a long way to go but things really are changing, I think.
