Is Israel the same thing as Jews? Israel is a country, and they have a foreign policy. Jews are people who practice religion regardless of country of origin.  If an American Jew criticizes Israel, is that Anti Semetic?

I actually think blaming AIPAC for a lot of this is horseshit. It passes the buck from the messianic warmongering Republicans who would look at the Middle Eastern oilfields as America’s god-given ATM regardless of Israel’s existence to a relatively small lobbying group of dickwads.

There is much more risk (anesthesia for both tigers) and less than stellar results overall with this method. While this is tragic, the same things happen in the wild. My theory is they only reopened the government to allow the Super Bowl to be played as scheduled and get a temporary boost from the State of the Union.

I’m still trying to figure out who is in the “hardcore left wing” of the Democratic party. This jackass sounds more like Joe McCarthy every day.

They have to give him money for border securityand bcause that is necessary — but they are, so far, firm on not giving him any money for a useless wall. 

Different times. When the leader of the governing party publicly admits he will own any government shutdowns, his polls numbers continue to stagnate, and public opinion of his government keeps sinking, the opposing party have no reason to thrown them a rope.

Usually you would be correct. But, the House Dems have yet to cave to Trump and I don't foresee them caving this time. 

Even if the Dems gave Trump everything he wanted, he will still shut the government down. He wants a shutdown so he can declare an emergency and, more importantly, Trump wants a shut down so he is in the headlines every day.
