no, actually the devs from Gone Home were doing environmental storytelling before, in Bioshock's Minerva's Den, they took it a step further with Gone Home

if you depend on a comedian playing for laughs to enhance the gamers image, then the gamers are a bit insecure. To me at least this doesn't affect gamers at all, it is a fun skit.
it's not as bad as they say, the gameplay and environments is a bit recycled yes, but the combat is faster and the story is more personal, I liked the personal story more that the epic LOTR style story of the first one
sadly, Frostbite 3 isn't very mod friendly, BF4 isn't at least
