Whats a foreigner? I’ve got news for you: women can do manual labor.

Seems like just a rough colloquialism... like saying “Robert is kept busy by working at First Freedom Bank during the week and enjoying family time and fishing on the weekends.” It’s a pretty stuffy turn of phrase, but I don’t see anything wrong with it... anything involving farming really does seem to keep people busy

Our society has never supported parents who put their child first. If it did, it would offer better maternity/paternity leave and make it easier for women or men to rejoin the workforce when they are ready after having children. Our historical precedent has just been women should sacrifice everything and men should

To be fair, SHS is actually good at her job when you consider her job is to lie without compunction in order to cover up for her boss.

“women perceive differences between genders to be based on societal norms, whereas men point to biology.”

This village embodies what, I believe, men fear at the most deep, existential level: a society in which they’re unnecessary.

This is a big sometimes though, because on the other hand I know men are like - “Well if she is going to do it anyways...”

Here’s your pat on the back for not allowing your clothes to reek and your life to fall into a state of squalor.

… And will use any tactics to ensure that.

Anyone want to have a men free commune in the US? Maybe some place warm...

I’m a male and I love doing laundry. I love the feeling of putting on warm clothes right out of the dryer. I even put this on my bumble profile. So yeah, kind of a catch.

“At home, men are more resistant to that change because it really means surrendering privilege,” said David A. Cotter, a sociology professor at Union College who has studied gender attitudes. “This way, they don’t have to do more laundry.”
Well guess what, I don’t want to do the fucking laundry either.

A lot of it is due to men being assholes who don’t believe it’s their job.

Coffee in the morning for a burst of energy, tea in the afternoon for a little bump before you glide down to sleepy time. Let there be peace among us.

How is it that ANYONE doesn’t have a kettle? How would you make hot toddies? Or instant cocoa/oatmeal? Or take a warm sponge bath if the boiler goes out?

100%.  I am so ready to playfully argue with people about low-stakes opinions.

Are there “tea over coffee” snobs? They can’t be nearly as numerous as the “coffee is good tea is for wimps” crowd.

Then again everyone I actually know who likes either, likes both. Equal opportunity hot beverage enthusiasts.

I enjoy making the English froth at the mouth by asking them if microwaving the water is okay.

Right, that’s it. You Yanks have gone too far this time.
