I agree. All of Walhberg’s “apologies” about blinding another human being just because he wasn’t white, have been very passive aggressive “I’m sorry people are still bothered by this thing and won’t stop bringing it up” kind of apologies.

I think they’re still trying to find a way to give respect and uniqueness to the victims without making their killer too important in their lives.

Yeah, this seems like a pattern with these guys. Once their victims are dead, they move right on to the next thrill/ego-feeding opportunity, and they can’t understand why everybody else doesn’t move on immediately, too. Honestly, I feel the killers parents should be charged. Didn’t the killer hole up with his dad prior to the arrest? and didn’t the killer’s mother try to push the false story, with the added statement that the killer’s confession was forced by the police?

The headline makes it sound like it was an anonymous murderer. Why not “Man who murdered wife and daughters” or something?
