But I didn’t eat the crushing reality and hopelessness associated with great challenges.

I think it was the salmon mousse.

Well, “Forget what you saw before” would be too close to what they want.

Aside from the first episode she was in, and maybe the russian sub one, the writing for her has been horrible!

Exactly!!! I don’t know why, but I found Dalek and Victorian Clara so much more interesting somehow.

I loved Dalek and Victorian Clara. I hate every moment of Modern Clara.

I agree, Clara got kind of a short shrift. Then again, Moffat doesn’t do female characters very well at all. Clara was no Donna, but she was a far sight better than Amy or Martha. I think she and Capaldi are adorable together, I love their dynamic and am sad to see it end. :(

Princess?

It’s a great show, I’m happy io9 and it’s savvy audience put it on my radar. I wonder, would this deal allow us to view the holiday special? I’ve heard it’s a fantastic episode but I haven’t found a legal avenue to view it. Suggestions welcome of course!

“FUCK!” - Jimmy Garoppolo

Strange! I watched and obsessed over Lost since the first episode. Listened to the podcasts, lurked on the forums, and I loved the finale. I guess maybe I didn’t devote enough time to the show or something, oh well! Still loved the finale, especially after the uneven final season.

damm beat me to it.....

Agreed, I saw bits and pieces of it on TV, was as dull as it looked in trailers and the VFX were not that impressive. Just like the Star Wars prequels... Perfection does not = successful.

Wait so then what would happen with the Rams, the most illogically “divisioned” team in the NFL?

Nah, you just forgot that a proper nerd would then say. .hey, if everyone else thinks of that then I should pick 18...

Maybe it got in through one of those four-thousand holes. I heard they were rather small.

I have a friend who read Imajica first and loved it more than Weaveworld.

Yeah - agree with the sentiment here. Weaveworld is a touch disjointed, like a lot of his long-format work, but still a crackingly inventive tale. Weaveworld would still be a contender for my top 10 favourite reads. Shadwell’s jacket is genius.

When someone asks me what my favorite book is I still say “Imajica”. It’s been a while since I’ve re-read it. I need to immerse myself in that world again. It’s so wonderfully textured with well developed characters.
