Michael Shannon looks like a taller scruffier Tobey Maguire in this pic.

I checked IMDb before posting to see if it was Freema, but it isn’t. Same profile. Freema is in Sense8 though and in the first ep, she be naked!

Looks like Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones.)

I don’t think it is Cyclops, but this photoshopped (skin lightened) shot of Zoom looks a LOT like Henry Allen as well and not like an Earth 2 Barry or Eddie Thawne.

That was an amazing episode. Started off cheesy, got hilarious and then dark as hell. Zoom and rag doll Barry was truly horrifying. The Zoom/Flash action sequence was outstanding.

I will not be throwing my television off a cliff. I don’t make enough money for that kind of extravagant protest.

Because I wanted to read all the pithy comments that IO9ers would make. Especially yours, Skippy!

Meh. I wasn’t a fan of the John Byrne “Man of Steel” series. It was so hyped that the comic book store I worked at then bought a shit-ton of them and we ended up with a massive amount of leftovers. It just wasn’t that good.

I just want to be noticed!!! Is that so wrong??!!!!

Yes, Cat Grant, investigative reporter extraordinaire can’t see past a pair of glasses. That’s just as stupid as a building full of reporters at the Daily Planet not seeing the superbly muscled and tall hulking reporter in their midst bears a ridiculous resemblance to Superman. Hopefully Clark never wears a

About time you posted this. I heard about it three hours ago.

That’s great and all, but Negan has been cast in The Walking Dead and there is no story on io9 about it?

One of the problems I did have was when Kara went to talk to her boss and she was wearing a dark blue long-sleeved top and had her hair mostly down. Not a good idea. Take off the glasses and she instantly looks like the person Cat just interviewed.

I liked the humor more in this episode. And yes, the “comparison to my cousin” shtick will get tiring but for a show in its infancy I will accept it. This show is still entertaining me.

Anyone else have to look up “etiolated?” Sure, I get the gist in context, but it is a rare day when Deadspin sends me to a dictionary.

He’s taken his first steps into a larger world, he’s one with the force, he’s...damn. Fuck cancer.

Dillahunt is awesome. Very good choice if true. I would have also supported Titus Welliver although I don’t know how old Negan is supposed to be.

I obviously didn’t, but my only exposure to Constantine was in the Alan Moore Swamp Thing comics and a couple episodes of the NBC show, so I thought it was maybe some kind of alias the character used or something else that doesn’t make me seem so stupid. :)

Who the hell is Jim Connsidine?

Any of you agents got something to drink?
