Painful for her as a character, I mean. I would have preferred she not impersonate Sara in person but only do the phone call. And I thought Katie Cassidy did a fine job with the call.

Oliver probably thinks that after losing their mother and finding out that Malcolm Merlyn is her father, if Thea found out that Oliver is the Arrow and that she herself killed Sara it would be too much for her to handle.
Well, she did snap off a heel and stab it through a bad guy's hand, pinning him to the wall with it. That was pretty cool.
Perfect companion piece to "The Flash." One is light and one is dark. I loved that Laurel fell on her ass and got spanked when trying to be a hero. In some shows and comics, people become powerful vigilantes or heroes at the drop of a hat. This show had the good sense to show that she has a LONG way to go.
Is this more Jaw-Dropping than the Jaw-Dropping Candy Carpet a few articles down on io9?
I'm sure it's been stated that Momoa would make an awesome Namor.
Jealous of the moon. The moon is cool, man. Edgy. It has a dark side.
This particular trope works to perfection in this episode as it was extremely logical for Hartley to do that.
THIS show is what Gotham wishes it could be. It is at the same time light and serious, funny and dramatic.
Jimmy Fallon look-alike.
And no sister Zelda please.
I worked in a comic book store when it came out. We pre-ordered a shitload of issues of the first Secret Wars series as it was THE HYPE for that year.
It's almost as if SOME people who grow up in impoverished minority-heavy areas keep some verbal vestiges of that upbringing even if they're intelligent people.
"Y'all can ax me all the questions y'all want."
Hard to say that's a shot of Mr. Fantastic "in action," insofar as there is no exhibit of powers. "In action" in this case is him extending his very normal length arm.
He has done a lot with some crappy material, that's for sure. But even his talents were not enough to save the interminable club scene with his mother. Oh look, Mama Penguin is annoying and drunk. Oh look, Penguin's getting drunk. The entire episode just shouted "FILLER" at me, like the writers were retreads from…
Gave up on this show last night. I was okay with quitting it a couple weeks earlier, but my 16 year old son, a huge Batman fan, wanted to keep watching it. He got up and left about 40 minutes in, after spending most of the episode on his iPhone.
If I didn't already know that Pat Sajak is a raging right-winger full of all sorts of shit, I'd say he was repeating an actual important point, one usually espoused by Global Climate change BELIEVERS.
Carlton Cuse? I always wonder why he doesn't get as much shit for LOST as Damon Lindelof. Of course, I am a fan of both, so I'll give this a try.
This is because Gotham is a stupid show that is occasionally entertaining. All the "wink-wink nudge-nudge see what we did there with the villain before he's a villain" shit they pull got old real fast.
