Makes me wonder about Rainn Wilson's new show "Backstrom." Looks like "House" but with a cantankerous grubby detective instead of a cantankerous grubby doctor.

If my inner child was dead, I wouldn't have seen the fucking movie a dozen times. It's just an opinion.
Just an opinion. Not stated as fact. When I saw the movie back in the 80s and every time since, I thought about the possibility that Grandpa was Westley, but dismissed it. I think "as you wish" was just something cute he was saying to his grandson to make him feel better.
Ki-nig-its didn't occur to me for a VERY long time. I assumed that Butch keyed Vincent's car, but given that movie's timeline, I don't know if it makes sense or if I am even right.
For $55 it better come with some beep-boops or something. Jesus!
Didn't mean to wet anyone's breakfast cereal.
Fair enough, but I am amused at how many people's minds are blown by this. It was one of the first things I considered when watching the film when it came out.
Seems the Welsh definition of "beach" differs from the standard one.
The Grandpa was just using a line from a book. Grandpa is not Westley, nor is he a Dread Pirate Roberts from somewhere further down the line. He's just a grandpa that read a fairy tale to his kid.
All this shows me is that Meredith's mind is easily blown.
This is Deadspin, part of Gawker media. Intelligent or honest "reporting" is not to be expected.
Everyone knows what they're going to get with Kobe. There's no point in wishing he was different than what he's been his whole career.
I would expect the opposite. People will pray feverishly to their God for things to get better and of course nothing will happen. I would think they would abandon their faith at that point.
To be the same size as your driver's license or ID card, so you can store them in the same size pocket or slot in your wallet.
I experience the opposite (live in SoCal.) Everyone slows down and drives like they've never seen rain before and it scares the shit out of them.
False flag operation. (Farse frag?) Racist.
Notice how there is no punctuation at the end of Newt Gingrich's reply to Robe Lowe's tweet?
I understand the addition of Tauriel, as without her the movie is a total sausagefest (especially if rumors about Armitage and Pace are true. :D)
This is probably a gag trailer. I doubt any of this futuristic shit will happen. The show may be taking place in 2017, as we saw the three-year time jump at the end of last season, but I think they are just having some fun with the trailer right now.
WEAVEWORLD by Clive Barker. I expected to love it as I loved some of his earlier stuff, but I read about 75 pages and couldn't get into it.
