I’ve worked in QA for a multitude of game development companies for near a decade now, and I’ve had people (who knew me) personally be an asshole to me because they were convinced that it was my job to ensure that the game I helped push to release was immaculate.
There’s no harm in presenting a character’s backstory, as well as the story on the forefront. Hell, if there’s anything that Overwatch does need, it’s story.
4chan is 99% comprised of 10-17 year olds, so I could honestly care less about what they think.

Great, an event for one city, instead of, you know, in most large cities where everybody can enjoy them. Glad Niantic is still interested in losing millions of players monthly for shenanigans like this.
Yeah, sadly none of the two high schools I attended offered anything resembling driver’s ed, or anything comparable to that extent. Then again, the high school I attended from mid-Freshman to Senior was in a very high income area, so most parents paid for private driving lessons.
I didn’t have the nice upbringing that apparently you, and your acquaintances did. My mom worked two, sometimes three jobs until I was 18, so there was seldom time she was home, let alone had the energy to teach me to drive.
