Yes the family plan is only for the online service, any games and dlc you purchase digitally are not shared with people in your family plan.

Nintendo Switch port makes sense. The “new way” would be the handheld mode with switch, the “new place” because its a nintendo system. There were the rumors of a MCC switch port last year too, so its possible they were more than just rumors
