honestly surprised they werent mentioned at all. They had 6 games, 4 of which had 2 versions just like pokemon does, and they spawned the spinoff/sequel series megaman star force which itself got 3 games with multiple versions for each.

They lessened the modern day stuff after 3 because of desmonds death, but it did keep going although they started having less and less modern day stuff in each game.

Remember AC 3? Juno had a plan to thrust the world into a sort of apocalyptic future where technology was basically gone and desmond was going to be treated as the new messiah. Desmond instead sacrificed himself to stop that from happening and to give the world a fighting chance against juno.

Sure we dont do the whole “instead of grabbing the next ledge just leap upwards to attempt to grab a new even higher ledge” anymore, but if you have a hidden blade you should probably have a hookblade. Its not a new route, it is a side story. You activate the side story from the main menu, you do not load up any other existing saves to play this DLC. After you reach certain points in the DLC then the new classes and characters get added to the base game.
