Sorry, but which Saint's Row was a serious game? Or was that literally meaning back on the planet Earth? Because I don't recall any of the games taking themselves seriously. That's what I loved about them.

That's not what happened. Saints Row IV was always in development. If Enter the Dominatrix came out Saints Row IV would still exist. Instead ETD was pulled into the already active development of SRIV and it's assets and mechanics were fit into the new game. One didn't magically turn into the other.

$20 isn't a bad deal. Would've liked a full-fledged sequel, but standalone expansions are rarely bad.

Nerds are awful fucking people. Not just entitled, but vicious and - at times - borderline sociopathic.

Every time the internet comes up with one of these dumb trends I think, "well, they can't get any dumber, right?" but something inevitably comes along that is dumber.

When reports of Swatting started becoming more and more prevalent I thought "this literally has to be the apex. There's no way it can get dumber than

Is profanity and barking the same command over and over long after the suspect has complied part of SWAT training? I honestly thought that stuff was just an exaggeration shown in films and television.

DO NOT CALL IT A PRANK.

Yeah, because I can think of no better way to earn money than to have frantic police officers break down the door to my house and point guns at my head, trigger fingers at the ready.

Stop calling it a "prank", Kotaku. It's not a prank at all - it's a felony. Continuing to call it a prank only reinforces it as something "fun" to do.

I suggest renaming the title to "Internet Felony Forces Schools Into Lockdown, Perpetrator is a Dick with a Capital 'D'".

Can we please stop calling "swatting" an Internet prank? It's not even close. Sending a friend a Rick Astley video, Internet pranking. Calling a fucking swat team on someone and risking people's lives, let alone using taxpayer money on a fake call because you don't like a person, is not. IT'S A FUCKING CRIME! And it

This time it got way out of hand.

"Swatting" is a "prank" that involves calling the police on Twitch streamers for bogus crimes. They get arrested mid-stream, one (anonymous) person in the whole damn world has a good laugh, and nobody else wins. This time it got way out of hand.

This is such a surprise, the other instances of swatting seemed totally justified and reasonable!

The ridiculous pitchfork mob after Zoe Quinn because she made a fucking game that manchildren are crying about is ridiculous. People have doxxed everything they can about her, dug up every past relationship. This is psychotic, it is beyond psychotic.

Fuck. The completionist in me is really going to hate this game.

I don't really give a crap about any of it. Numbers don't impress me much. All I want to know is WHEN I'LL GET TO PLAY IT.

42 times the age of the universe?

Eh, I'll do it in half that time...

This stat makes me so happy ;_;
