In high school in the 80s one of my best friends had a Mustang II with the V8 and T-Tops. Sadly it was the fastest of all our ‘first cars’ because the rest of us had family hand-me downs or 4-cyl powered vehicles. To take him down a peg we always called it his Pintang.

There’s a local Ford dealer that had several of those in their truck lot for a while, and I followed one down the interstate the other day. Odd-looking for sure, but supposed to be very handy for their intended purpose.
