Liking the configuration, David, especially the wheels. I do like the plainer ‘steelie’ look, but the smaller size is obviously going to be benefit when it comes to choosing tires. I was also dismayed to see the interior color option only available with the $12k bump to the 6-cyl.

As the long-time owner of an FJ Cruiser I wholeheartedly second your opinion, David. If I had that much glass there I sure wouldn’t cover it. There’s also an argument to be made for which side to put it on as well. Curbside would be safer in usage to keep out of traffic, but a driver’s side placement would preserve…

Whenever I see a cool new automotive light design I invariably wonder ‘how much is that thing gonna cost to replace?’ At least they are inset quite a ways and not protruding at the corners of the vehicle.
