I don’t know a single person who still watches it, so does it really make a difference at this point? They could quietly remove Homer and Bart for all I care.

To be honest I’d be happy if they just quietly cancelled the Simpsons. It’s had a good run with 30 seasons but now it’s a pale shadow of its 90s glory days when it was a cultural juggernaut. For the past 10 years all the best episodes of the Simpsons have all been Bob’s Burgers episodes.

Horrible news. The most successful guy on the show, and he’s being offed because his accent isn’t spot on and it’s done by a white guy.

Good. Let it be dead, tell new stories in new places even if those stories don’t work out, at least you’re trying something new and showing fans new pieces of the galaxy.

I’ll laugh my ass off if at the end of the trailer, it just says Untitled Avengers Sequel.

RDJ was never in the Guardians films, though. I don’t know if RDJ knows Gunn that well. Certainly, the reason he stood up for Mel Gibson was because RDJ and Gibson are best friends (and Gibson is the reason RDJ is sober). That same can’t be said for him and Gunn.
