The creators after Ward left were so preoccupied with whether they could, ah, they didn’t stop to think if they should.

I enjoy it quite a bit up until season five or so, which is when they had some shake ups behind the scenes. Nothing against the people running the show from then on, but the show falls down the “continuity lockout” issue a bit. It also does the MASH bit of alternating between funny and maudlin a bit too much for me at

I was taken by nostalgia and almost wrote a huge post on how I learned to love Adventure Time — from watching a random piece of Five Short Graybles and finding it funny, but the most nonsensical piece of television ever made; to being under the influence and realizing I wanted to watch The Enchiridion again to get a

I can’t bring myself to watch the finale yet. I don’t have any super deep heartfelt memories of the show, but my girlfriend-then-fiancee-then-wife and I have enjoyed it since the beginning together, and so it’s certainly a bit of our history we get to say farewell to. We’ve watched the show, played the card game (yes,

CN website hasn’t uploaded it yet and I am annoyed. I want to watch it again.

I’m gonna be replaying the back half of this at least a couple more times tonight. That was hella dense.

Whenever I was younger, this show was just coming on, as was Regular Show. I was geared more toward the latter, and watched it instead of Adventure Time. Believe me, there were a lot of lunchtime arguments on which show was better (through our one-sided opinions).

CN had quite the summer with LGBQT relationships.

I thought I was a wreck when Sugar’s song was being sung, but then the Music Hole had to go top it and make have a breakdown.

I come not to praise Caesar.

Well, that was just about as perfect as could’ve been expected. Was entirely unprepared for them to break out the full version of Come Along With Me for the closing montage - thought Sugar’s song would be what killed me in this episode, but no, it’s the damn song I’ve heard hundreds and hundreds of times that got me

Adventure Time will always remember me of college. It was my first year of art school and I bonded with a lot of my classmates over the series. It really wasn’t like anything else on TV and changed the cartoon landscape. Adventure Time gave us space for Steven Universe, Bee & Puppycat, Bravest Warriors, and OK-KO.

This action scene is Pretty great. Not to mention that kiss! Glad CN is brave enough to give closure to fans.

“...it’s the fun that will never end, Adventure Time!”

This show really gave me my love of backstory and fan-theories, and reinforced my love for the bittersweet happy-sad feels. (Looking at you, I Remember You!) Thanks for making me more of a nerd who’s not afraid of feels.

Someone sure doesn’t know where New York is.

Kubrick was such a stickler for the details that they actually DID fly to the moon just so he could get the right shot.

They gave a wink to this in the Season 4 episode “Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie.” Lisa exclaims:

We banished the awful lemon tree forever, because it was haunted! Now let’s all celebrate with a cool glass of turnip juice
