Oh wait,

People who actually care/argue about framerate in games always seem like total idiots to me. I know a few in real life, and they’re really fucking stupid.

I’ve been following this game for a while and I think it’s awesome, but I think the surest way to make sure a large portion of smash fans won’t check it out is to pit it against smash in the title.

Yeah, I don’t know why he named the article the way he did. The quickest way to ensure smash fans won’t try a new game in the genre is to insult smash in the first line.

He’s wondering why there aren’t more. He didn’t say “I always wondered why no one ever did this before in the history of video games!”

Oooo, you should’ve gotten it. That game was awesome, especially in 2 v 2 matches. 1 v 1 was horrible and the roster was a hot mess, which are both pretty unforgivable things, but if you ever feel like trying it, it’s a bargain right now and it’s still extremely fun with a group of friends.

Why are you making it a competition? This is what I don’t understand about smash vs. other fighting games with similar mechanics to smash. People always want to make it Smash vs. the world, when in every other genre it’s just “hey here’s another FPS” or “hey here’s another racing game.”

By that logic, we should only have one FPS (let’s make it Call of Duty), one RPG (how about Skyrim?), one racing game (hmmm... Forza!), etc.

I told them that I’d love to do the interview, but that I couldn’t agree to a condition like that, as we at Kotaku prefer not to let outside parties dictate how we publish our stories.”

So because you refused to be flexible, none of this ever came to light and people are out $600,000.

I’ve never bought a season pass and I don’t understand why people continue to do this. You’re paying $40 for content that you’re most likely going to hate. It just doesn’t make any sense to me at all.

Game sounds totally exploitative, I’d just not play it at all. (Which is what I’ve done up to this point!)

That’s how marketing works. You don’t dump everything into one big moment because that’s ultimately much less valuable than having people’s attention once every couple weeks.

Why am I replying to Andras Neltz, and not the ever-eloquent Keza MacDonald? O.o

Uhhhhhhhhh the issue here isn’t that it’s not exactly like the source material, it’s that it completely sucks.

Yeah, those DI figures are seriously high-quality. As a game DI can definitely be disappointing, though. I didn’t even buy 2.0 because it seemed so lackluster. I caved and got 3.0 though, and so far it’s awesome! The main problem is that the Toy Box seems to have a really small size limit compared to previous

You know what’s too bad? The dark edition comes with two cars instead of a car and a boat.

Ooo, I’ll definitely check that out then. Was it just one match they played that was good, or a full set?

Woah man, just saying thanks again - I just switched my pre-order from the original dark bundle to the bundle with stealth elf. Not only did that score me the elf, but somehow amazon’s also saying that’s going to arrive tonight - the other one wasn’t getting here ‘til tomorrow.

ooooo! thanks for the link

Yeah, I’ve heard good things. :D I’ve always wanted to check it out, but never had good motivation until I saw that DK amiibo.
