Oh Megyn, you are clearly so much brighter than anyone else on your sad joke of a network. I try so hard to like you and to see you as some kind of beacon for a future when Conservative pundit does not mean craven lapdog to Murdoch, Koch, et al.

Or maybe, as the results apparently do not apply to all female centric shows, just to Sex in the City, they may just be guys with reasonably good taste in television.
Do you think the religious right would like Hilary more of she had divorced her husband rather than putting the work into saving her marriage? Are those the family values they promote?
You know, you are right. Orange is the New Black has an 8.1 rating among men and an 8.6 rating with women. I’m not sure this is a men vote down women’s shows thing or just that men don’t particularly like SATC. For which I can not particularly blame them
It offended me and I’m a girl. I hated the “are you a Carrie or a Samantha” questions. I found all of them shallow and shrill.
This is because women won’t date “nice guys.” The only reason you can’t get a date, and women seem to act like you are creepy, is that you are a nice guy. Women always treat nice guys poorly. Get angry the next time a girl doesn’t act thrilled by your massively entitled, slightly stalkerish attention and call her a…
I think most women regard dudes as a childish, annoyingly loud subset of men. And it is not necessarily a permanent condition. Some men are only dudes in the company of other dudes. Some men are dudes in their youth but grow out of it and can become a mensch.
I a so eternally sick of the 20 and 30 year old allegations against Bill Clinton being thrown at Hilarly Clinton. If there is someone out there who can accuse Hilary of inappropriate advances well, that might be relevant. They got to make as much hay out of this as they could when Bill was president (impeachment…
I think she is gorgeous. And there are plenty of cis women who are as tall (I am) and have as deep a voice. There is no shortage of roles she could play
I love this. I love her. I think it's fabulous that there are more transgender characters in tv/movies treated with respect rather than comic relief drag queens. But I would also absolutely love to see her cast in something as a woman. Not necessarily trans, or who really needs to know, just a woman.
Could not even listen to her songs. Could never ever ever get over that atrocious accent. She sounded like Scarlett O’Hara with mumps.
Actually I disagree. Layla is the only woman who keeps falling for men who only pretend to care about her. Every single male who crossed Rayna’s path was in love with her. Despite all his success Luke apparently has been in love with her for decades and was just waiting for her to get a divorce. Michael Huissman, the…
So, I’ve never seen the show so I don’t know is this is the usual but:
I have never gotten the sense that she dresses to please herself. There is always something desperate about her reinventions of herself. And now, I don't believe she is dressing how she pleases despite her age. I think she is trying as hard as she can to seem relevant when younger more talented artists have taken her…
I think Lamar Odom’s status as a good example for the kids is not really going to be salvaged by reading a newspaper that one time.
I guess it's too much of a spoiler for anyone here to be explicit but in the books there is another character, whose parentage is not in doubt. That character has not made an appearance in the TV show yet and there are no hints that it is likely to.
She (and every single person who says “we the people” in political discussions) lives in such an echo chamber that the only people that she talks to agree with her 100%. These people just repeat each other’s talking points and insist that they represent the silent majority. Rather than a very loud minority.
You know, I honestly think the outraged people tweeting about this are trolling. I mean, I don’t think anyone has seriously used the word “miscegenation” for decades. I don’t know the statistics, but in my experience, mixed race relationships of every variety are much too common for this ad to be controversial.
My guess is that they are arguing that doctors that provide abortions are all evil racists who set up clinics in poor and minority areas and lure women (who would otherwise want to continue their pregnancies) in because they want to kill poor and minority babies. Of course this is bullshit but it speaks to their base…
So - I was going to reply that this is like all those personhood bills that try to get around the legal fact that a fetus, which is not person, does not have constitutional rights that can be abridged while a pregnant woman, who is a person, does. Despite the fact that many Republicans seem to view pregnant women as…
