Does anyone think a trackpad sounds uselss on a desktop? I much prefer a mouse to any trackpad I've used, even a macbook's. I'm just not seeing the function.

This reminds me of my frustration of getting files on and off my ipad. I had no idea apple locked you out of the filesystem when I first got my ipad.

@wætherman: I don't, but I know a good product when I see one. I also watched a great video review on youtube which promoted it's build quality, design, and function. He does have quite a thick case on in the review and mentions his older stand wouldn't fit with his case.

@lankygibbon: Not everyone wants to do tricks. I think traditional skateboards are actually pretty lame. They feel like a matchstick compared to my longboard.

I prefer the compass stand posted earlier this week. It's a lot more useful since I can take it with me. Plus, I use a case, and the price doesn't hurt either.

@Vanilla-Terror: Exactly what I needed to know, and assumed. Android actually handles market transactions very well. 24 hour refunds are awesome!

@zeroprime: This is definitely the newest type of board i've seen. A lot of kids in my area ride them.

@Lizard_King: Skateboard bearings usually last quite a long time, especially with regular cleaning. Bearings also aren't too expensive. Nonetheless it looks like a bitch to upkeep!

@jeepfreak: Check out freeboarding, I hear it's very close to snowboarding on asphault.

These do look like a lot of fun. There is another design similar to this that allows a lot of freedom. It's called a freeboard. It may not look quite the same but it offers another option for those looking to try somethi different. Definitely give it a lookup on youtube.
