So you're saying that MHP was way out in front of the Beyonce story, discussing the political aspects well before white America got its racist panties in a bunch. Good to know!

I just can’t understand what it is about this story that attracts so many angry, inarticulately racist trolls...

Ugh, I’d never thought I’d say this, but at least Fox News keeps it real by putting their bias and bigotry in front of the cameras. F*ck MSNBC, I’m good reading Dan Rather’s Facebook page for my daily dose of political commentary. http://www.facebook.com/theDanRather

What is unbelievable is that people get all offended by Beyonce’s video and everyone is cool with Trump. They even want to see more of him. Even liberals think he’s funny. The video is a very well done music video with some references to a social movement. Trump is a fucking disgrace and if anchors lose their jobs it

Ugh I’m appalled at the commenters over at Gawker. What a repugnant group of bottom feeding singleminded bafoons. I’ve never seen a group of people so spiteful. They’re called her unhinged and crazy?

“Ungrateful?” Oh fuck no. That *immediately* reads as racist and possibly sexist as well. I need that “flames coming out of my face” gif.

The cable news networks and their pathetic ratings are more addicted to the horse race (over policy, breaking news, or the Earth blowing up) than I am to cane sugar root beer, and I love me some cane sugar root beer.

Hayes and Maddow are the only ones left who actually have interesting shows. They cover things that aren’t just a regurgitation of the news. MSNBC was stupid for letting/forcing MHP to go.

I agree, however I feel corporate media is somewhat to blame because who wants to tune into station that is 90% coverage of purposefully incendiary programming and like 10% coverage of topical issues by rational and intelligent people?

This is HORRIFIC. Her show covers VARIOUS topics in a single episode, primarily from a minority angle. Why would they insist she overwhelm her audience with the election? Her analysis on Formation is something her fans EXPECT from her show. WHAT THE SERIOUS *#&$, MSNBC?!?!?

No, you see, Scarborough’s white and conservative, so it’s totes OK.

MSNBC made the decision last year that they needed to compete with Fox. The lower rungs were told that they were going to seek more “moderate” programming, but the upper rungs were already planning a Trumpalooza. I hope they fall on their face (except for Maddow, long live Maddow.) There’s already a glut of white,

Not that it wasn’t already apparent to any thinking person, but our mainstream media is trash. I’m not a fan of MHP but I feel her pain in wanting to address other important issues (who knew a Beyoncé video would be the springboard for a discussion on BLM, race and identity?) beyond this fucking circus of an election

She’s been catching a lot of heat for being “ungrateful”, which is patently absurd. Defending your work, autonomy and reputation is hard, especially when it seems you’re being let down when you’ve been trying to reach out for support for a while.

Wait...WUT? The MHP Show was having a discussion about the political & sociological messaging in Beyoncé’s Formation—something that was a very hot topic in the news after her appearance at the Super Bowl. And MSNBC decided that is was appropriate and/or newsworthy for “footage of Jeb Bush and Chris Christie rallies in

I noticed the past few weekends she hadn’t been on and I was wondering what happened. That answers my questions.

I have no words.

So, MSNBC isn’t this liberal bastion of everything that is great about being a Democrat? Shocked face. Aside from Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow, they’re just like every other cable news network. Fuck ‘em.

I feel like he’s a really smart guy that maybe isn’t that funny, but I haven’t seen too much of him since I never really caught the Daily Show excpet in online clips anyway.

Okay, Trevor Noah, you’ve earned two more weeks of me watching your show in hopes that it improves.
