There is more to it than the standard figures. Teslas lose A LOT of energy when doing a full power launch strait down the quarter mile. And if the car senses ANY kind of wear and tear occuring, it cuts the HP down so that the wear and tear of drag racing isnt as bad as if you were using all of the power.

This is all great advice and info, good article. But for those of us that have a V8, does anyone know of an 8 stack of ITB’s that cost less than 5 grand? Cause a custom cross ram setup wouldn’t be difficult once you have the 8-stack. Even volvo is using cross ram 8-stack ITB’s on their racing S60.
