Yeah, I still don't find that funny on any conceptual level and can't imagine why someone would.  And sorry if my thinking that the writers could do better makes me a "sourpuss", as if I'm part of the problem when it comes to terrible humor in children's programming. It's so easy to be lazy with the humor when you

So many bad programming for kids is defended this way, especially Dreamworks films - it's a kid's show, it's meant for kids, etc. Can't we appeal to kids and aim for humor that's a little better than HAHA FART SHIT SNOT.

Yeah, it just baffles me how neglected Bolin has been.  The last really story-specific thing that centered around him was getting kidnapped early in the season, but from then on it's mostly humor.

Again, one of the main issues is how poorly it was directed, animated, choreographed, what have you.  It makes no sense for the Equalist chi blockers to stand there and, one by one, wait their turn to be comically mowed over by the kids.  I thought the show was past that inconsistent level of Fire Nation soldier

True, but they are some of the most evasive, quick-thinking enemies ever seen in the series, swiftly adapting to different bending attacks and styles.  That they would just stand around even if they were a little unprepared for three young, enthusiastic airbenders deflates the threat that was building with Lin's last

It's not that the kids intervened, really…it's that the scene wasn't directed well enough.  The Equalist chi-blockers just stood around as they waited their turn to be knocked over, thus making the moment feel a little unearned in how it reduces their intelligence and evasive style for a cheap moment.

Yeah, it was a little weird to hear basically the exact same voice, no subtle little changes…I love Brasco, but it was a bit too obvious.

I agree, to an extent…the world-building, even in the city itself, has been a bit disappointing in terms of showing what's changed, and how people are thinking, outside of the main cast and plot incident.  I think we could have learned more about where the other nations are at without leaving the confines of the city,

It's totally valid to express some disappointment when Korra seems to suffer with character development and pacing - ten episodes is a good amount, but I think a lot of them have been structured a little too poorly.  Not being able to criticize that to focus more on the positives seems a little one-sided.

Eh, no, he's not really funny at all.  Then again, I don't find forced toilet humor funny.  The character should have just been written out if he's a vehicle for lazy, Dreamworks-esque jokes about how badly he has to shit.  Give the two daughters more lines.

Fuck fartbending and cynical, lowest-common-denominator "humor". Christ, I'd rather have more of the overdone anime faces than a stupid, unfunny slow-mo shot of snot and farting - I was hoping the season would go on without any serious toilet humor forced into the scripts. I wish they took Meelo out and focused on
