Exactly.  Westerns were the huge mass market genre for decades and never went away. They ebb and flow for sure and aren’t as popular as their prime but they still make them.  I’m sure superhero movies will do the same thing.  

They’ve been making superhero comics for 84 years. There are times of abundance and lean times, but they haven’t stopped. I’ve personally been reading them weekly for 14 years and am not fatigued.

It’s by design, not by accident. Make us relive trauma as often and as pubicly as possible for one simple reason- they hope we lash out, attack, get loud, or act in any way to justify further violence against us (whether committed by law enforcement or just the average racist citizen).
