Anthem was by no means what is was hyped up to be, but at its core it wasn’t complete dog shit. I think once the stigma gets out there and it seems like everyone is shitting on a game (because everyone was, same with Cyberpunk 2077), then it just becomes universally regarded as a dud.

I personally believe it’s definitely worth one cent. The foundation and gameplay were all there, Bioware just needed to follow through. The flight and feeling like an OP Iron Man at times felt really fun. I really wish they went through with the overhaul they were planning - I might have come back for that.

Well if GameBasement is in, I’m in.

At least the Ouya actually happened, though. There’s zero chance of this thing ever existing.

It’s been 100 years since the last rise of fascism/dictatorships started, so there are few if any people from that time left alive to warn us what’s about to happen. But it’s pretty clear: WW3 before 2050, especially if the dumbass anthropomorphic traffic cone gets re-elected.

I’m really not liking what the future holds ahead.

I’m pretty sure no one wants to work on something that winds up a miserable failure, even if they got paid for their time.

There are still people that play Anthem to this day even though it was officially abandoned.

There’s currently 11 streamers/viewers on twitch right and 0 for Babylon Fall.

That’s immensely sad. Anthem was a game that was widely panned and considered dead on arrival, and yet I regularly saw players in the open world as late as four months after release. Like, it wasn’t PACKED and was clearly made for bigger populations than it had, but I never felt like I was in a ghost town.

Russians seems to personally imploding over the Ukraine war in a fashion very very similar to how GOPers lost their minds over Trump’s loss. It became this weird doubling down on their belief system that leaks into every aspect of their lives whether the situation calls for it or not.

“Listen, Russia should be allowed to invade and occupy a sovereign nation, bomb schools and hospitals, and murder thousands upon thousands of innocent people in horrific manners to further the interests of Vladimir Putin and line the pockets of Russian billionaires, because the US has done shitty things too.” Yep,

The “stop covering him” strategy doesn’t work, particularly with vapid dolts like Paul, who have enough of a following of other vapid dolts that he can make money while also drawing enough attention to make ignoring him just difficult enough to make it unworkable.

As someones who’s patience has almost entirely evaporated into thin air these last couple years, I applauded his ability to make it to the very end of this challenge, mess up, and *not* throw his controller straight through his TV.

Right? Maybe more like the HBO Max or the Disney+. Something that has things people want to watch

Love the call back to the Venator’s shape in that SSD design.

For a second I thought I was on the wrong site Spartan, lol.

Welcome to the mind every Diablo 3 player pre launch.

This is going to be abandoned the moment they realise it’ll have to be online-only for everything and that’ll lose sales.

But how else can they prevent you from playing the game once they shut down the servers in a few years? If you could just keep playing old games, you might decide to do that instead of buying the new one when it comes out!

When have the cheapest thing you can buy in this game, go karts, been $10,000?
