Yeah, I always go hide in some bushes when I have to get up and pee or something. It’s very meta.

You clearly have no idea what pulling kid aggro is like. When I have to stop I have to stop right then and there. If i’m in the middle of a fight i don’t have time to find a safe spot. I need to stop mid swing and get to helping my kids with whatever they need. Frankly the cat jumping on the keyboard is less…
I can’t imagine it’s as easy and quick as you say, when your 8 month old needs your attention IMMEDIATELY and your wife needs to finishing flipping the laundry
Man, no stupid/spoilery messages, no getting invaded... I’m not sure that’s a downside.
I’m definitely a parry player when it comes to the Soulsborne games, and having played through Gascoine a few times now, I’m pretty well convinced, at least pre-transformation, that he’s there to teach the player parry timing, if for no other reason than his arena is so damn crowded that it makes dodge rolls…
Father Gascoigne, huh? There are a few ways. One lesser-known one is to use a music box you get from an early quest designed to help you beat him. It dazes him long enough for you to deal 30-40% of his health bar when he transforms.
I’m at the first boss now and I got my shit absolutely wrecked. I’ve done one side dungeon and I’m already thinking of resetting and playing a different class. The Astrologer is great and all but I keep picking up weapons I can’t use because my strength and fez isn’t high enough. The magic has been a godsend though,…
Far as I’m concerned, unless you’re one of these admittedly impressive people who can beat Dark Souls blindfolded at SL1 while using a DDR controller, there is no shame at all in the occasional bit of cheese in a FS game.
Yes, it’s called “Kill all the baddies in the immediate vicinity, then go hide in an obscure corner while you make your sandwich.”
Hopefully things are a bit more smooth this time around, looking at Reddit it seems a mixed bag, but better then previous season launches which is a plus.
I’d imagine the servers are a mess right now as-is, these folks probably wouldn’t be able to login even if they did have everything downloaded and ready.
Happy to know he has the same cool guy scar I've given to ever created character I've ever made.
The only thing that I’m worried about is Jen Taylor as Cortana. That’s probably the strongest connection they could have made to the games and it could feel incredibly out of place.
Basically, I blame the people who pushed this out the door to hit a release schedule a lot more than I blame the people who worked through a pandemic to actually make it.
Roughly 50 hours... my plan of beating this game before Elden Ring releases is seeming more unlikely by the minute. But it will still be there when Elden Ring is done, I suppose.
*sees game is delayed
but those dudes were a total front! this guy could actually play, that’s what makes it so wild/sad!
I like this idea. Other people on this thread seem to think that it wouldn’t benefit a retailer besides goodwill, but how many people walk into a store and buy just a console? Just the console, no extra controllers, no games, no other items the store sells? Pretty low chance
bigburito was sarcastic but essentially correct. What you describe is an added cost (through labour) but produces no profit.
At this point I have just decided to wait until whatever the “slim” version is. I managed to get a Series X at launch so while I really wanted a PS5 15 months ago, my interest has waned quite a bit after the Gamepass improvements and acquisitions. Combined with the fact you can’t even find one, I’m in no rush at this…
