Yeah, really.

Still my favorite publisher by far, and a lot of these games look fantastic, but man that was just kind of awkward at points, especially toward the end. The audience didn’t seem much into it at all.

My hope is that it’ll be a more torched and decayed summer version of the entire map of the first game, Dark Zone and all, with some regular missions wrapping up the story from the first game.

I thought that whoever was driving this was really into “RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH” when I took this picture. Then I looked closer and thought the same thing because it was in fact “THE RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH” guy driving it.

Does Keanu sound kind of, I don’t know, shitfaced?

Yes and no.

There’s a 10 hour trial with every new game, but within some of them they’ll insert an artificial wall on story progression - for example I think the Madden 18 Longshot story mode is blocked about 90 minutes in, and so was the Battlefront II story after 3 or 4 missions, which I guess makes sense since neither was

Nailed it.

It wasn’t so much “strange” as it was just shitty PR spin on a business decision to avoid diluting the customer base for PS Now, which was launching around the same time.

Nice. Now after five years of being propped up by another console’s players and expanding the library fourfold does it finally “bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect”.

I agree, it should definitely have been animated. But some Hollywood dipshit said decided it was going to be live action-CGI, so it’s live action-CGI.

Sorry, where I said “emptiness” I meant “indifference”.

I didn’t say I think it’s going to be good.

I’m only unhappy with the situation because I watched the trailer expecting this to be THE. WORST. FUCKING. TRAILER. EVRRRRRRRRR!!! based on the coverage and comments here on Kotaku.

I finally watched the trailer yesterday, and besides the design of the character - which of course is not a small factor by any stretch - I really didn’t think it looked that bad.

The only two zombie apocalypse games I’ve really played and gotten into are The Last of Us and State of Decay 2, and this review makes Days Gone sound almost like a basic cable mash-up of both.

They’ll find a way to hit you up for a few koins for the downloadable kontent.

Or, as a judgmental non-gamer would say, found the opportunity to...

By far the most unrealistic part of the world of The Division 2 is the sheer amount of gas cans lying around.
