Maybe clean some of that blood out of your eye and try reading that again. I made it quite clear that I simply mixed up the number for the Callaway and the regular one, I hadn’t looked it up in forever, and furthermore its a 93, not a 94.

As for your assessment of my financial standing, you’re right. I’m dirt poor,

I would listen to your opinion, but again, I can’t take someone seriously when they attempt to defend this car and call it charming. It’s like calling an ugly girl with a bland personality charming because she puts out super easily, but hey some guys are into that.

Usually I see them in SRT-4s, actually.

Yeah my car

HAHAHHAHAA okay yeah... so keep telling me C4s aren’t cool while you’re talking about a Neon. A FUCKING NEON. The car you see with a crackhead in it rolling on 2 donuts right past the tire store on his way to the dealers house. Even the Corvette doesn’t have an image problem as bad as that.

Speaking of LSX motors,

I had a tuned GTP for awhile that did that for me, even with the equal length half shafts. It’s better looking, still boosted, the backseat is bigger (since we’re 17 this matters), and the interior actually holds together better. Plus jet fighter HUD. But you couldn’t get it with a manual.

Oh yeah I was mistakenly remembering the Callaway TT number for some reason.
Either way it’s a better car in every regard except number of seats and probably gas mileage, and while I don’t deny the aftermarket for an SRT4 is big, there’s no way it’s anything like the Corvette one. Plus, there’s not much supporting

I’ve only been in two S. Korean made cars for a period of time, an old Hyundai Accent hatch that was completely horrible, and a new Kia Optima which is actually quite good. One hell of a transformation.

You’re missing out on a few points here, namely that we were basically the only country with completely intact industry at the end of World War II, and we had a bunch of production facilities and workers for them that had to find a new way to get by.

I don’t know what new cars were going for then, but I don’t really care to buy new cars anyways.

On the used market you could get a C4 Corvette for less than 20k back then. I bought my 93 this year for less than 10k, 65k miles and 6spd. 13.1 second quarter mile.

I don’t understand why anyone buys those. The only redeeming feature is the engine and manual transmission. Literally everything else is horrible. People want to make this muscle car comparison, but it’s tiny, ugly (and not in a menacing way), poorly put together, and FWD. It’s just not.

Ugh what an affront to the Z car. Ugly, slow, fat, need I say more?

Case in point there was one in front of a local pawn shop for over 3 years. If I recall it was this exact same color.

Lived in MI all my life. FWD and snow tires will get you through everything but the absolute worst days, once every few years. I hate to say it but Jeeps are pretty garbage. Consistently low reliability ratings, horrible refinement (in the Wrangler at least), and unforgivable driving dynamics if you’re not off road.

Sounds about right, I fit 3 girls an myself in my C4 one time, and one had to ride in the back, or as I attempted to sell it: “Under the stars”

Well, it’s not quite 60, but

You’re wrong. Well, you’re right, but you’re also wrong.

The Miata isn’t ruined by people who prosthelytize about it, it’s ruined by what idiots do to them, and how they interact with others. I owned one, and my experience with many other drivers was that they were teenage assholes who spend money on stickerbomb

OH OH OH in my last year of highschool we got a new principal, she had one of these and was exactly the kind of woman you think she is.

Still, I did appreciate that she drove something that different

Correct me if I’m wrong, but these were Supercharged? Should be more like 250 horsepower. And a pretty broad torque range. Not exactly slow in it’s day, but not worthy of the “intimidator” name either.

Ah, right. The L.L Bean Outback, the best way to announce to the world that you’re a submissive lesbian who works as an interior designer.

Yeah, people never take into account that this thing is only spinning a few thousand RPM. Pretty hard to make power when you’re turning that slow.

God damnit. Can we not start this whole gun thing?

Human driven cars will become illegal when autonomous ones are good enough to warrant the removal of traffic signals and almost all stopping. Cars passing by inches from each other at perpendicular angles and the like. I wouldn’t want to be driving on those streets.

So the big question is, how hard will I be hitting my head against the backseat ceiling while Comcast is screwing me on this new form of telecommunication?
